Packing Services That Work Around You

Most move damage happens during packing, not during the drive. A dish wrapped in a single layer of newsprint inside an overfilled box doesn't survive the trip from Burnaby to Coquitlam — even with careful driving. Professional packing means the right materials applied the right way, not just more boxes.

Our packing service is flexible on materials: we can supply everything or work with what you already have. The arrangement is confirmed when you book — no surprise charges on move day.

Three Ways to Use Our Packing Service

Full Pack

We pack every room — kitchen, bedrooms, living areas, bathroom. You don't touch a box. Best for busy households, tight timelines, or anyone who just wants it done properly without the weekend of stress.

Partial Pack

You handle clothes, books, and non-fragile items. We handle dishes, glasses, cookware, mirrors, artwork, and electronics. The most common arrangement — you save money and still protect everything that actually breaks.

Unpack Only

Already at the new place and overwhelmed by boxes? We can come in after the move and unpack, unwrap, and set up rooms so you're not living out of cardboard for the next three weeks.

Materials: We Supply or You Provide

Most movers either supply materials and build the cost in, or bring nothing and expect you to show up with a pile of liquor store boxes. We do neither by default — we ask what works for you.

When We Supply Materials
  • Double-walled cardboard boxes (small, medium, large)
  • Dish packs with cell dividers for glasses and mugs
  • Bubble wrap for fragile and ceramic items
  • Packing paper for cushioning and void fill
  • Wardrobe boxes with built-in hanging bars
  • Tape and dispensers
When You Supply Materials
  • We pack with whatever boxes and wrap you have on hand
  • We'll tell you if a box is too heavy or structurally weak before it's sealed
  • Good option if you've collected boxes from local stores or buy them yourself
  • Use our packing calculator to estimate how many you'll need

What We Pack Carefully

Some items need more than a box and tape. These are the ones we treat differently:

  • Kitchen and dining: Individual dish cell wraps for plates, paper cushioning between stacked pots, glasses nested and padded, knife blocks secured upright
  • Artwork and mirrors: Corner protectors, layered bubble wrap, standing orientation in the truck — never flat
  • TV screens: Original box when available, otherwise custom-wrapped with screen protection and foam edge guards
  • Lamps and shades: Packed separately — shades don't survive contact with anything heavier than tissue paper
  • Wardrobe and clothing: Hanging items stay hanging in wardrobe boxes; folded items stay folded in lined boxes

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you supply materials or do I need to bring my own?

Either works. We confirm the arrangement at booking — no surprises on move day. If we supply, you pay for materials used. If you prefer to source your own boxes, we pack with yours. Use the packing calculator to estimate quantities.

Can I book packing separately from the move?

Yes. We can pack the day before your move and have a crew do the move the next day. We can also pack and move in the same session if your load allows it — let us know your timeline when you contact us.

What is a partial pack?

You handle non-fragile items — books, clothing, towels, toiletries. We handle what actually breaks: dishes, glasses, artwork, mirrors, and electronics. It's the most popular option because it saves time and money without leaving the fragile items to chance.

Do wardrobe boxes include a hanging bar?

Yes — wardrobe boxes we supply have a built-in hanging bar. Clothes transfer straight from your closet rod into the box without folding, and go back on hangers at the new place the same way.
